Mattress Order

A lot of spring mattresses that are supposed to last 20 years, feel very uncomfortable after a short period of time. Most mattress manufacturers use foam that is 1.0 lb. to 1.3 lb. density for the topper or comfort zone part of the mattress. You may not have known this when you bought your last mattress, but now that you do, you can do much better by coming direct to the source and choosing grades that are heavier and longer lasting.

Depending on the grade of foam it can be very soft for initial comfort or very firm for deep down support. That is why we recommend buying a few layers that you can combine to improve the quality of your sleep. Our mattresses are made by FOAMITE (Vaughan, ON) using our exclusive grades of foam. Custom Foam Mattress

Any Thickness or Size in a Number of Different Foam Grades

If you want to buy a good mattress, get to know your foam first! Foam is the key comfort ingredient used in all mattresses; however, not all foam is created equal. Before choosing a grade, you should know that:

  • Heavier high-density foam will last longer before sagging or softening.
  • The firmness of the foam does not determine quality. Firmer does not last longer before sagging.
  • Premium High Resiliency (HR) foam will not soften or sag as quickly as other polyurethane grades.
  • Buy the right foam, for you, at the right factory direct price.

Deluxe Multilayered Mattress

Orthopedic Layering for Comfort & Proper Spine Alignment

The word “Orthopedic” is the most over-used word in the mattress business. For us it means a mattress that is properly layered, with the right compressions, and is the right overall firmness for your weight, preference, and back condition.

  • Comfortable on top, to take the shape of your body, yet firm enough in the core to maintain proper spine alignment.
  • Orthopedic does not mean buying the firmest mattress you can find.
  • An overly firm mattress resists rather than conforms to the natural curves of your body.
  • This is what causes pressure points and endless tossing and turning throughout the night.
  • This mattress is layered properly for a gradual transition from a soft topper to a firmer core.

Memory Foam Mattress

Pressure Relieving Memory Foam Infused with Swirls of Cool Gel

  • Memory foam was originally developed for NASA to reduce pressure points for take off and re-entry into the earth’s atmosphere. For many years, it has been used in Hospital and medical applications in the treatment and cure of pressure sores.
  • It greatly reduces pressure points and provides relief to back pain sufferers or patients that are confined to beds or wheelchairs for long periods of time. Memory foam gradually adjusts to the shape of your body with help from your weight and body temperature.
  • Memory foam is a very soft comfortable topper, but you need another layer under it for support. The quality and firmness you go with depend on your budget and preference.

Custom 2-Layer Mattress

Custom Sizes with a Softer Topper and a Firmer Core

  • An overly firm mattress does not take the shape of your body properly. You should sleep on a mattress that has a softer topper for comfort and pressure point relief combined with a firmer core for support and better spine alignment.
  • With one grade of foam, it is difficult to fine tune the overall firmness of your mattress to achieve both attributes. In this case two layers, with varying compressions, are better than one.
  • Feel free to experiment with the different foam grades and put together a mattress that is right for you. You can order the layers loose or joined together.

Synergy 3-Layer Mattress

The Perfect Balance of Genuine Comfort and Deep Down Support

  • The most comfortable mattress is one that is made specifically for you based on your weight, preference, and back condition.
  • Our Synergy mattress combines a high resiliency top, a transition layer and a high-density foam core in different levels of firmness.
  • The transitional layer allows your body to gradually adjust between a softer topper and a firmer core.
  • Without a transition layer you would go right through the soft topper and feel the firmer core under it. This creates uncomfortable pressure points.
  • Made with better grades of foam than store bought mattresses.

Custom 3-Layer Mattress

Design Your Own Two Sided Mattress in Custom Sizes

  • A 2 to 3” topper will provide you with initial comfort and pressure point relief to limit the amount of tossing and turning.
  • A firmer core, 4” to 6” thick, will give you the necessary support so that you don’t hammock into your mattress.
  • The bottom layer can be the same as top, so that you can flip the mattress, or a firmer foam grade, for back pain relief.
  • A middle layer (1.5” to 2” thick), between the topper and the core, will allow you to gradually transition between the two layers. This is important if your mattress is made with a soft memory foam topper.
