Foam Toronto is dedicated to delivering unparalleled personal service to our customers, by offering them products that have been verified and that use only the highest quality materials. Not only that, we promise to never leave you hanging if you have a mattress problem after you have purchased a mattress from us. All our mattress covers are made with zippers so that we can access them down the road to make any changes that you may require at our foam factory located in Vaughan.

A lot of spring mattresses that are supposed to last 20 years, feel very uncomfortable after a short period of time. Most mattress manufacturers use foam that is 1.0 lb. to 1.3 lb./cubic foot density for the topper or comfort zone part of the mattress. You may not have known this when you bought your last mattress, but now that you do, you can do much better by going direct to the source and bypassing the middleman.

Depending on the grade of foam it can be very soft for initial comfort or very firm for deep-down support. That is why we recommend buying a few layers that you can combine to improve the quality of your sleep.

Custom Solid Foam Core

You will have a good mattress if you buy the right density of foam. In our solid foam core mattress you can choose whatever size and firmness you require in a number of different densities. This way you can choose the right quality for your application at a great factory direct price. In this case, the word “Custom” not only refers to the size but also the firmness and level of quality. You also get to choose the cover that will be made to fit your custom size. Our advantage is giving you the option to buy a much better high-density (HD) or high-resiliency (HR) foam at a lower price than what you would pay in most mattress stores for a lower-quality grade. HR foam does not sag or soften with use like conventional polyurethane grades.

Custom 3-Layer

If you buy a good piece of foam, you will have a good mattress. However, with one foam grade, it is hard to achieve the best levels of initial comfort and deep-down support. You can achieve this by constructing your mattress with 3-Layers. A soft top layer for comfort and pressure point relief. A firmer core for support and to keep you from hammocking into the mattress. And the ultimate is to have a medium middle layer that will allow you to gradually transition from a softer topper to a firmer core.

This is especially necessary with a memory foam topper or a super soft high-resiliency layer. Without a transitional layer, you will go right through the softer topper, as if it wasn’t even there, and feel the firmer core layer under it. You can order the Synergy Mattress in standard sizes or construct a 3-Layer mattress in whatever custom size that you require.

Memory Foam Mattress

Memory foam was originally developed for NASA to reduce the G Force pressure on their astronauts during take off and re-entry into the earth’s atmosphere. For many years, it has been used in Hospital and medical applications in the treatment and cure of pressure sores.

It greatly reduces pressure points and provides relief to back pain sufferers or patients that are confined to their beds or wheelchairs for long periods of time. Memory foam gradually adjusts to the shape of your body with help from your weight and body temperature.

Memory foam is very soft, for a comfortable topper, but you need another layer under it for support, so that you don’t sag into the mattress. The quality and firmness you go with depend on your budget and preference. Check out our Memory Foam Mattress made in standard sizes or construct a custom 2-Layer or 3-Layer in whatever size you require.

You should know that all memory foam mattresses are not the same. Those that are made with a lighter-weight foam cores will soften pre-maturely. When you go back for warranty, you will be told that this is “normal wear” and that it is not covered by warranty. It doesn’t have to be that way if you buy better foam (which we have) and from a factory direct that can fix your mattress, down the road, if anything goes wrong with it (which we do).

Latex Foam Mattress

All natural latex rubber foam is made entirely from the sap collected from rubber trees. They are designed to provide you with the most natural and time-tested comfort experience available. The foam is 100% non-allergenic, dust-mite and bed bug resistant and made with certified quality that is controlled from manufacturing to point of delivery. A Latex Mattress is highly recommended by previous owners who are familiar with its luxurious feel, comfort and long lasting durability. It can last up to 30 years, as a sleep surface, before it begins to break down.

Typically, Latex is used as the top layer of a layered-mattress with a firmer base for support underneath it. Be careful when shopping for latex because there are many latex imposters made with only 21% natural latex mixed with 79% polyurethane foam.
